Milkbar : Live at Section 8 | 2021 - Current

Milkbar is the collaboration between Good Mood Melbourne and High Bias. Established in 2019 as a video series, MIlkbar has become a staple at Melbourne’s iconic open-air container bar, Section 8. On the last Wednesday of every month, the Milkbar House Band plays two one hour sets of fully improvised music. The lineup is always changing and evolving, and often consists of players who have never met before the night.

Electric Relaxation : Sight & Sound | 2016 - 2024

Teaming up with Melbourne Visual Artist CACTVS, Sight & Sound was a showcase of Art and Music, transforming The Workshop Bar in Melbourne’s CBD.

In it’s original format, Electric Relaxation would have both a Feature Visual Artist and Feature Producer; Sight & Sound. Each month the team would curate a blind collaboration and release a music video at the event. This paired with a video series called Meet the Maker, where they would interview that months Feature Artists and release the interview in the lead up to the event.

The event evolved into a more transformative and interactive use of the space, rather than a screening of previous works. Electric Relaxation moved into featuring a Visual Artist to Project, Paint, Install and Inspire to a lineup of bands, producers, musicians and DJs.
